The CONNECT network is constituted of national or governmental research institutes working in the area of ecology, nature conservation and management of landscape, biodiversity and natural biological resources. Their research and monitoring are aimed at the needs of the society, and in particular the environmental administrations at all levels, which is reflected in the high priority of applied research at the Institutes.
